Speckbit focuses on training students with hands-on sessions and also help students understand the what is happening in the black box. The curriculum is spread over a span of 3 months which includes career coaching, guest lectures and mock interviews.

Build a Console Project with the Python Foundations.

Week 6 - 7

Learn third-party packages, Tkinter, Pillow and build a GUI App.

Week 8 - 10
๐ŸŽฎ Understand Databases and Handle events with PyGame
Use Python to query databases, create tables and do many more operations. Build a game with the help of PyGame.

Week 11 - 13

Pick a unique idea and work on a mind-crunching project to test the limits of your understanding.

How does the program work?

Bridge is a blended-learning program, meaning, the program involves both offline classes and online learning environments for the students.

This track in the program includes offline sessions every Tuesday and Friday (5:30pm - 8:30pm) that will be held at the given venue. Students will recieve online mentorship, support and a learning-path on Speckbit's web platform for the rest of the week.

All the sessions are hands-on and students will be assigned with projects every week. Also, students will work in a team to build a major project by the end of the program.

What is expected from students who enroll for the program?

1. Students are expected to carry their own laptop to the offline sessions. Speckbit does not provide any lab facilities.

2. Students must attend all offline sessions punctually and are expected to complete and submit weekly assignments on time.

2. You should have good understanding of programming concepts and a robust understanding of high-school mathematics.

We are higly committed towards student succeess. If our students win, we do too. So, All our energy is focused on helping our students succeed and helping them learn the most important things along the way. And we expect the same from students we work with.

What kind of weekly time commitment should I expect?

On an average, we expect students to spend about 12 hours per week, throughout the entire program. This is an average so some students may require more than the allotted time frame, or less.

If you think you've got the passion and enery to start making useful things and win at it, you are a perfect fit for the program.

Is there a deadline by which I've to finish this program?

Yes, 12 weeks from the date of commencement of the program. You will have 4 weekโ€™s extension to submit any outstanding project. Note that there wonโ€™t be any further extension provided.

Does this program provide Mentorship?

Yes, you will be provided mentors to guide you throughout the program.

Do I get a Certificate on completion of the program?

Yes. Certification will be provided on successful fulfillment of the criterion.

Do I need any prior-programming experience?

No, there is no necessity that you should know anything about programming. This is an introductory course and we will be spending time explaining basic programming concepts like data types, loops, functions etc. Along with the basics, advanced programming concepts like Object Oriented Programming, Recursion, Threads etc will be covered during the program.
